I LOVE Birth Stories...

Seriously...LOVE.

Here is my brother and sister-in-law and my one and only nephew.

There is something about watching your little brother become a dad...I can't describe it really.

It was almost maternal when I saw him holding his sweet baby.

He wasn't able to watch baby be born, or get his first bath, or be weighed because of an emergency C-section but as soon as I saw him look at that sweet little boy...there was not a doubt in my mind that he's going to be a great dad.

Births are so wonderful and so miraculous and even though sometimes things can get completely unpredictable and even scary for a minute...they're still my favorite.

I think these pictures show all the emotion we all felt.

Family Sessions

Yup...I will talk to you at the session, get a good idea of what you want in your card...and custom design you a Christmas card.

a) I'm filling up fast and

b) you really need your Christmas Cards done so you don't have to worry about it and

Yet another for M...

You know...I always tell myself that I'm going to wait until an entire session is edited before I actually post the sneaks. That never ends up happening b/c I just get so excited to share with the cute people I photograph. Plus...I always see WAY cute pics that I can't help but share with all of you. Like this one... Seriously. Have you ever seen such squeezable cheeks? And check out his adorable little cowlick on his forehead. Um...I love him.

Whoops...

...forgot it was Tuesday. This week I'm thinking it's probably going to be Texture Weds. I've been so busy! I know that's no excuse but honest, cross my heart...I have had no time to do a texture picture. Maybe that's because Season 3 of Chuck just came out...or rather, has been out but I just found out about it and have been catching up on Hulu. Maybe that's why...but I would prefer to just say I've been busy. :)

You'll remember beautiful M from the maternity pictures I did awhile back. Well...I got to do some newborn pictures and just thought I'd throw up a sneak peak for her. I'll put more on when I've edited more but I just couldn't help it when I saw this one. When I took this picture, I wanted the focus to be on M and I just love her expression. I love new mommies. They're just so glowey (hmmmmm, glowey...I think I just made up a new word!). Seriously T and M...your little boy makes me want to have another one and the Princess is only 10 months old. He was just that cute. :)



Also...just a quick FYI, I'm going to be doing some major reconstruction to the blog! Woot Woot! I'm not really saying what just yet but the watermark on this picture is here to STAY (kinda as a preview of things to come...)! EllieCutler Photography is getting a make-over for 2010. As soon as I get some proofs back to the graphic designer...it will all be revealed. :) So stay tuned
