Um...I Heart Canyons...

Quick story. The Princess woke up from her nap. When she wakes up on her own...lemme just tell you, she is adorable and so much fun to be around.

She calls me.

"Mama! I wake up! Get me please!"

I tell her: "Just a minute! I need to get you a new sippy."

She says: "K - new sippy with just milk." (she likes to tell me whether she wants chocolate or strawberry or just milk)

I go in. She's standing against the side of the crib (I'm dreading the day she graduates to a toddler bed. DREADING) holding her blanky and reaching for her sippy.

I just got home from work and was still dressed up in my work clothes.

She looks at me and gasps.

"Mama!"

I kneel down next to her crib so we're eye level.

"Your sweater is beautiful Mama!" and strokes my sweater.

"Your hair is beautiful Mama!" and strokes my hair.

"Your earrings are beautiful Mama!" and strokes my earrings.

"Your eyes are beautiful Mama!" (I was wearing eye makeup) and strokes my eyes (glasses).

At first...my little heart just melted. THEN...I realized wait, if she's that shocked over me being ready for work, I think that means I don't really dress up at ho me all that much.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....

So this family...um, adorable!!! I had soooooooooooooooooo much fun with them!! They were the winners of my Cardigan Empire contest and may I just say...so glad they won. :)

When they got out of the car, I got happy. Their outfits. Amazing.
