Audrey Inspiration!

So um, I love Audrey Hepburn. I love her style, the grace in which she conducted herself... Everything. One of my favorite movies of all time is My Fair Lady. But her most iconic look comes from Breakfast At Tiffany's.

Love it.

So I wanted to do a shoot that was Audrey inspired. But who would get all dolled up and pose? Luckily...my assistant Megan volunteered. And what a great shoot to do for her 16th birthday. And my awesome sister-in-law came on up for hair and make-up duty. And I had a little black dress that worked perfectly.

Ah.....I love when details come together.

I threw my own spin on things though by having her wear purple tights.


Um...kinda love them. :) They might just be my most favoritest tights ever.

But when I think Audrey...I also think classic black and white. And boy...Megan has a pretty profile. She was just perfect for this shoot.

But I couldn't help throwing in a color profile shot...

So pretty.

And then of course sunglasses...

Because Audrey wouldn't be Audrey without her big over-sized sunglasses...

Honestly...Megan is such a natural beauty. I don't think I could have asked for a better model...or assistant...or babysitter. Whew! She's one talented girl!

So Megan...thank you for being a good sport in the freezing cold weather. You're great!
